This is a picture of my girlfriend Melissa’s tattoo. She got it done while I was in basic training at the Air Force Academy. I got a letter from her saying she was thinking of getting one, but that it would probably be pretty small because it was her first one. She then sent me this picture….small? no. sweet? yea. Took 4 and 1/2 hours. My girl’s Chinese and both her parents were born in China. She went to Chinese school for a while but it wasn’t her thing. To her, this represents her Chinese roots. To me, it’s just another thing to love about the girl I love.
